Breadroot Mailing Lists
Mailing lists are operational for use by both Co-op members and others that are interested in natural foods and healthy eating. After subscribing to a list, a copy of every message posted to the list will be forwarded to your email address. Joining an unmoderated list will allow you to send a message to
all the other members of the list simply by mailing to the list's email address.
Subscription information, further instructions for use, and access to that list archives are available at the individual list information pages using the links listed below. Further details will also be sent by email after subscribing to a list.
Breadroot-announce
This is a low traffic, moderated group dedicated to specific information about Breadroot Co-op that is of general interest to all members. This includes the newsletter, reports, notices for special events and similar announcements.
Breadroot-discuss
This group is open to Breadroot Co-op Members to discuss Co-op policy, business and operations. Membership will always include all members of the current Board of Directors.
Breadroot-food-health
The food and health list is open to anyone connected with or interested in hows and whys of natural foods and natural health. We would be able to have threads on health topics, "what foods and supplements are good for someone with X?", food content/selection topics, "how do you decide which oils to include in your diet?", and food use topics, "what do you do with this bag of X anyway?" Anyone on the list can ask or answer questions, in keeping with the belief that we each will have expertise on different aspects of these concerns. The forum is for sharing ideas, not dispensing of any specific prescriptions that would imply liability on the part of Breadroot for their content.
Breadroot-orders
This unmoderated group is open to Breadroot Co-op members only. It allows those responsible for inventory can interface with the potential customers and with each other in order to build a functional store and best support the needs of all involved. Topics include what types of items to include or exclude from the inventory, or what goals we are working toward for the store stock, and wishes for special orders and splits that would be mutually beneficial.
